Events for 2012

 

Saturday & Sunday 19th & 20th May

 

Come into the church and enjoy our celebratory Flower Festival - 'Going for Gold'.  Refreshments will be available and the Badger Set Band will be there on the 19th.

 

Saturday & Sunday 2nd & 3rd June

 

This weekend sees the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebration.

On Sunday the General Secretary of the United Reformed Church, the Rev'd Roberta Rominger will lead the morning service. 

 

Sunday 15th July

 

This is our Church Family Day when we enjoy a picnic lunch, fun and games.

 

Saturday & Sunday 28th & 29th July

 

Sees the Olympic Cycle Races come through Dorking.  West Street is a prime place to see the action.  Refreshments will be available.

 

Thursdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th August

 

We will be holding coffee mornings in the Living Room, from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon, in aid of various charities.  Pop in for coffee or tea and a piece of cake, and a chat.

 

Saturday & Sunday 8th & 9th September

 

The church will be open for the Heritage Weekend.  Come and see a multi-media presentation about the Church and the archives from the past 350 years.  There will also be 'Messy Church Heritage', so find out what that is all about.

 

Saturday 13th October

Look out for details of a Son et Lumière event where West Street comes to life in Sound and Vision.

 

Saturday 17th November

 

Come and enjoy a Magic Evening with a three-course meal and some magical entertainment - fun for all the family.

 

Thursday 6th & Saturdays 8th, 15th & 22nd December

 

The church will be open for a Christmas Tree Festival on Dorking's Gala Night and on the Saturdays that follow.  Refreshments will be available.

 

You will receive a warm welcome at these events and at our Sunday services, so please come along.
